The use of water and power may be required to execute our works.

 

Whilst carrying out roof replacements felt and battens will be applied, these are not a permanent weathering and can allow slight water ingress under extreme conditions.

 

No allowance has been made for any defective structures other than those included within our estimate.

 

When works involve the removal of existing coverings, some minor interior damage to decorations could be caused due to vibration these works are not included in our estimate. (i.e. cracking of old plasterboard ceilings)

 

Whilst replacing roof coverings, if the timber structure has not been requested to be replaced when sagging is present we cannot be held responsible for contributing to the roof holding water.

 

A 50% deposit of the sum total (inc VAT) will be required 14 days prior to commencing works and the final payment to be received up to 7 days after the satisfactory completion of all works.

 

Our site operatives are instructed to exercise due care and attention at all times and complete their works with due diligence. Keep the site tidy and free from debris to the best of there ability.

 

All times quoted are on a purely approximate basis, weather conditions or other tradesman are an unforeseen factor.

 

We endeavour to commence our works on the agreed starting date, but if this date is delayed by either party due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be held responsible for any loss or damage caused as a result of this.

 

The customer acknowledges that whilst the company are able to give their opinion upon the possible cause of any roofing problem, the contract is for works carried out and not for diagnosing the problem.

 

The customer has the right to cancel this contract with Oakland Roofing Ltd within 7 days of receipt of this notice. In doing so the customer will not incur any costs relating to any part of the job and there will be no penalty for the cancellation of the contract, irrespective of where the contract was signed.

To cancel the contract please direct your request in writing to Oakland Roofing Ltd 51 Parkhill Rd, Otford, Kent, TN14 5QH.

 

All cancellation requests will be deemed to have been served as soon as they are posted.

Where we cannot resolve any complaints using our own complaints procedure, as a Which? Trusted trader we use Ombudsman Services Ltd for dispute resolution.
